Ukraine, Zelensky: “We need more sanctions against Moscow and air defence for Kyiv”

Rome, 9 Aug. (LaPresse) – “We need more pressure, more sanctions against Russia and stronger air defence for Ukraine.” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wrote this on X following last night’s Russian attacks. “Russia continues to rely on ballistic terrorism, which is not limited to a single city or community,” added the leader in Kyiv, concluding: “This week alone, 61 missiles of various types have been fired at Ukraine, 56 of which were ballistic. More than 1,560 attack drones and 1,540 aerial bombs have also been deployed.”
