Colombia, president: “Six members of armed groups killed in government operations”

Bogota (Colombia), Aug. 10 (LaPresse) – Six members of Colombian armed groups were killed during clashes that took place following the recent inauguration of Colombia’s new president Abelardo de la Espriella. The military operations are among the first conducted by the new government against illegal groups and “represent a strong and clear message to all the bandits – the head of state said in a statement – They no longer have anywhere to hide.”
