Madrid (Spain), 10 Aug. (LaPresse) – Spain’s Minister for Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory, Ángel Víctor Torres, speaking to reporters in Ceuta, stated that 80,000 migrants had entered the Spanish exclave during the mass arrivals on 30 and 31 July. Previously, Pedro Sánchez’s government had reported that 72,000 people had entered. Torres acknowledged that this was a “very serious emergency” and said that the government is working to restore “normality to the streets” of the autonomous city.
