European Athletics Championships: Italian one-two in the shot put, Fabbri takes gold and Weir silver

Rome, 11 Aug. (LaPresse) – An Italian one-two in the shot put at the European Athletics Championships currently taking place in Birmingham. Leonardo Fabbri claimed the gold medal with a throw of 22.31 metres, whilst his Italian teammate Zane Weir finished second with a throw of 21.12 metres, taking the silver.
