Milan, 11 Aug. (LaPresse) – US President Donald Trump has stated that he intends to continue the standoff with Iran by adopting a “simple, calm” approach that focuses increasingly on inflicting economic damage. “I’m their banker,” Trump declared. He made the remarks in an interview with Wayne Allyn Root of Real America’s Voice, in which the White House occupant expressed frustration with the Iranian negotiators, whom he described as “devious”, and said he wanted to try to “proceed calmly”, aiming to win the conflict by leveraging financial pressure. “We could simply leave things as they are and they’ll go bust. We could carry on, you know, calmly and without stress,” said Trump.
