Hopkins (Minnesota), 12 August (LaPresse/AP) – A man has killed his partner and son at a private home-based nursery in Minnesota, before taking his own life, according to Hopkins police. Other children were also present at the nursery at the time of the attack; they were unharmed and were subsequently returned to their parents. Hopkins Police Chief Brent Johnson explained that another parent witnessed the attack whilst arriving to drop off their child and subsequently alerted the authorities. Johnson did not provide details on how the murders were carried out or on any weapon that may have been used. According to the police, the two adult victims were the owners of the nursery.
