Frankfurt (Germany), Aug. 14 (LaPresse) — Russia has asked the United States for clarification on the sharing of intelligence with Ukraine and on Washington’s alleged involvement in Ukrainian attacks deep inside Russian territory. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov made the remarks in an interview with state television, as reported by Interfax. “We have sent a series of questions to the State Department, asking it to comment on the intelligence issue as well as the fact that the U.S. is much more deeply involved in organizing and carrying out deep strikes on the territory of the Russian Federation against civilian targets,” Lavrov said. The minister clarified that Moscow does not intend to issue an ultimatum to Washington to stop such activities. “We do not issue ultimatums,” he stated, responding to a question about whether the issue might be raised ahead of talks with U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
