Rome, 15 Aug. (LaPresse) – Ludovica Cavalli has secured a place in the women’s 1,500 metres final at the European Athletics Championships in Birmingham. The Italian finished fourth in her semi-final in a time of 4’10‘32, securing one of the six places that qualified her directly for the final. Gaia Sabbatini was also eliminated, finishing last in the other semi-final in a time of 4’11’80.
