European Athletics Championships: Italy’s women’s 4x100m relay team through to the final

Rome, 15 Aug. (LaPresse) – A splendid performance from the Italian women’s sprint relay team at the European Championships in Birmingham. The quartet of Pagliarini, Hooper, Kaddari and Pavese won the first semi-final, finishing in 42.22 seconds ahead of favourites Great Britain. The final takes place tonight at 10.48 pm.
