The news was announced by the star’s father to ABC News: “It is with deep sorrow that we announce the tragic passing of our beloved Hayden. She was an extraordinary light and a force of nature, capable of bringing immense love and joy to everyone who knew her, as well as to the millions of people who followed her on screen,” the statement read.
