Torino, Aug. 17 (LaPresse) – Yemen’s Houthis have claimed to have attacked a Saudi military vessel and four other boats accompanying it in the Red Sea, off the coast of Mokha. “The operation to identify the targets was carried out using several ballistic missiles, and the attack was precise and direct,” said spokesman for the Shiite group’s armed forces Yahya Saree, quoted by Al Mayadeen. According to the Houthi spokesman, the missile launch against the vessels near the strategic Bab el-Mandeb Strait caused the boats themselves to capsize and catch fire. Saree also reported that the rebels launched a drone attack against government forces in the central province of Marib.
