Milan, 20 Aug. (LaPresse) – The death toll from the Russian attack on the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, stands at six, with 33 people injured. This has been reported by Ukrainian media, citing local authorities. “The consequences of the enemy attack have been recorded at over 12 locations in the city’s Darnytskyi, Sviatoshynskyi and Solomianskyi districts. Residential buildings, a healthcare facility and a school have been damaged. Fires have broken out in warehouses across a wide area. Emergency services are working to deal with the aftermath. Unfortunately, five people have lost their lives at the hands of the enemy. A further 23 people have been injured,” wrote Mayor Vitali Klitschko on social media, as reported by Ukrainska Pravda. In the nearby town of Brovary, in the Kyiv Oblast, one man was killed and another injured in the attack, according to the head of the regional military administration, Tymur Tkachenko, who added that an unspecified ‘industrial’ facility had been damaged, as reported by the Kyiv Independent.
