(LaPresse) – Prince Harry and six other individuals, including Elton John, have been ordered to pay an initial sum of 9.5 million pounds – equivalent to approximately 11 million euros – to the publisher of the British newspaper *Daily Mail* following their unsuccessful privacy infringement case. In a ruling handed down today, Judge Matthew Nicklin ruled that the payment must be made by 28 August. Associated Newspapers Ltd. incurred legal costs of around £34 million during the proceedings before the High Court in London, in which illegal practices such as the unlawful interception of telephone calls were contested.
