Milan, 25 Aug. (LaPresse) – Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov has rejected the proposal included in the peace plan drawn up by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and the United States, which calls for a ‘free economic zone’ in disputed territories, such as the Donbass, to be administered by a third party. “The Donbass is territory of the Russian Federation, a constituent entity of the Russian Federation. It is unlikely that a third party could govern a region of the Russian Federation,” Peskov told journalists, as reported by the Tass news agency.
