Fuel: Salvini says diesel discount will be extended by a few days tomorrow, until September

Milan, 25 Aug. (LaPresse) – “We will hold the Council of Ministers meeting tomorrow, at which we will extend the diesel discount. And we are also working on longer-term measures.” So said the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Infrastructure and Transport, Matteo Salvini, at a press briefing at the Rimini Meeting. The excise duty cut will be extended “for a few days, until September, but then I would like something more permanent and substantial, so we need money”, Salvini added.
