UEFA-affiliated federations will meet on Thursday in Monaco, ahead of the Champions League draw, where they are expected to end the boycott threat, according to a source familiar with the proposal who spoke to the Associated Press on Wednesday. The source spoke on condition of anonymity ahead of the closed-door meeting. Dropping the boycott will allow six European teams to continue preparations for the FIFA Under-20 Women’s World Cup, which begins on September 5 in Poland.
