Milan, 27 Aug. (LaPresse) – “Silverstone was great but extremely tough. After the weekend, I was struggling mainly with my knee; I can’t complain about my shoulder. My left knee is causing me a lot of pain; it’s an injury that takes time to heal, and riding with it isn’t ideal. It’ll be tough, but I’ll do my best.” So said Marco Bezzecchi, Aprilia rider, during the riders’ press conference ahead of the Aragon Grand Prix. “The double podium at Silverstone was brilliant. Now we’re here; I like the track, and Marc will be extremely fast, as will all the Ducati riders. We’ll try to get the best possible result,” he added. “It’s certainly going to be difficult. My shoulder is healing well; it’s a collarbone injury, so it’s not particularly serious, even though the fracture was quite severe. The biggest problem is with my left knee – fluid is building up inside it, making it difficult to bend my leg and push as hard as I can. So I’m doing everything I can to recover as soon as possible; I’ll certainly have to put up with some pain, but I’ll try to do my best,” he concluded.
