Rome, 29 Aug. (LaPresse) – Lando Norris, the 2025 Formula 1 world champion, has extended his contract with the McLaren Mastercard Formula 1 team until at least 2030, with a multi-year option for a further renewal. The team announced this in a statement published on its website. “McLaren is my home and I’m delighted to have signed a new contract that will keep me with the team until at least 2030,” commented Norris. “When I embarked on this journey nine years ago, I had a very clear set of goals I wanted to achieve: to bring McLaren back to the top and win championships. We’ve achieved that, but we want more; we want to keep winning and we know, as a team, that we’re capable of it. I can’t wait to get back in the car at Monza and I’m really excited about what the future holds, both for the rest of this season and for the years to come.”
