Milan, 31 Aug. (LaPresse) – Francesca Fagnani wants to leave Rai. The presenter of the programme *Belve* is reportedly ready to bid farewell to the public broadcaster, despite the wishes of the management at Viale Mazzini to keep her at the helm of the programme, which she has been presenting since 2021. Despite reassurances from Rai, which considers her “a valuable asset” – as reiterated again today in a statement by Prime Time Entertainment Director Williams Di Liberatore – reports suggest the journalist is disheartened by certain decisions made by the organisation which she feels fail to recognise her professionalism. Among the reasons for her disappointment may also be Rai’s decision not to choose her to present certain flagship programmes such as ‘Chi l’ha visto?’, after her name had also been linked to the Rai3 programme following the departure of its long-standing presenter, Federica Sciarelli. Furthermore, there has reportedly been no discussion yet within Rai regarding the production plan for ‘Belve’, despite the programme having been announced in the schedules for the period from 20 October to 1 December. Should Fagnani’s departure from Rai be made official, Mediaset could be among the journalist’s possible destinations. The group led by Pier Silvio Berlusconi holds Fagnani in high regard, and she already has good relations with several key figures at Mediaset who could ‘back’ her move, starting with Maria De Filippi, who was a regular guest on *Belve*.
