Rome, Aug. 31 (LaPresse) – Tragedy in Rome’s Pietralata district, on Via dell’Antracite: a father, mother and their minor daughter were found dead in a bedroom, with gunshot wounds. Firefighters discovered the bodies after being alerted by a relative who had been unable to reach the family. After forcing open the door, firefighters found the three bodies inside. Investigators are working on the hypothesis of a murder-suicide. According to reports, the couple’s daughter was disabled. The circumstances are still being reconstructed. Investigators must establish whether the mother or the father fired the shots and, consequently, who killed whom. The three bodies, all bearing gunshot wounds, were found at around 1 p.m. in the bedroom of the home on Via dell’Antracite. During their inspection of the scene, Carabinieri officers also found a dead dog, which had likewise been killed.
