Rome, Aug. 31 (LaPresse) – US President Donald Trump told Fox News journalist Trey Yingst that “Iran is eager for a meeting,” but questioned whether Tehran can be considered a reliable negotiating partner for reaching an agreement, as US sanctions continue to take effect. The US broadcaster reported his remarks. The White House chief also said that the United States would respond to the missile attack launched by Iran against US forces overnight. “We will hit them hard,” Trump said. “There will be a response.”
