This was stated by Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum (VEF), as reported by TASS. “If Gianni Rodari were alive, I think he would write a satirical fairy tale about it, but I’m not sure it would be any funnier than this true story,” said Zakharova, who believes the incident is an example of how Kiev’s ‘managers’ turn military defeats into personal international contracts. Fedorov recently announced that he had become an adviser to Crosetto, explaining that his role would be to contribute to the Italian development of “modern warfare technologies”. The appointment has also sparked controversy in Ukraine.
