Bosco family: Juvenile Court gives go-ahead for gradual family reunification

Rome, 1 September (LaPresse) – The green light has been given for a phased reunification of the three minor children of the Anglo-Australian couple Nathan Trevallion and Catherine Birmingham. This was ruled by the Juvenile Court of L’Aquila, which ordered that “supervised visits” should take place “alternating between a neutral location and the parents’ home, with the option of also visiting the grounds of the original home, so as to allow the children to see their pets” and that social services “initially organise visits involving day trips of a longer duration in the presence of a social worker and, after at least one month of regular school attendance, assess the suitability of weekend visits to the children’s parents’ home”.
