Milan, 1 Sept. (LaPresse) – Journalist and writer Mario Calabresi is set to stand in the Milan local elections. According to LaPresse, Calabresi will announce his bid for Palazzo Marino in 2027 in a press release this afternoon. The former editor-in-chief of *La Stampa* and *La Repubblica*, and co-founder and CEO of Chora Media, will retain his role within the group – which produces podcasts and news programmes such as *Will* – until the end of September. Calabresi will host the news review programme *Seietrenta* and take part in the *future4cities* festival from 25 to 27 September in Turin.
