We will always respond with the utmost seriousness to prevent any interference by the Russian Federation.” This was stated by the Foreign Minister, Antonio Tajani, on his arrival in Wicklow for the informal meeting of EU foreign ministers. “The risks remain. We will respond as one and stand shoulder to shoulder with the countries that are directly affected. We, too, have suffered cyber-attacks, albeit different from those in Leipzig,” he explained. “It is unacceptable for things like what happened in Germany to occur. This must make us realise that European unity is fundamental,” added Tajani.
