Football: Juventus confirm David’s loan move to Atlético Madrid

Milan, 2 September (LaPresse) – Jonathan David’s loan move to Atlético Madrid is now official: the Canadian player will wear the Spanish club’s colours during the 2026/27 season. Juventus announced that “it has reached an agreement with Club Atlético de Madrid for the temporary transfer, on a free basis, until 30 June 2027, of the sporting rights of the player Jonathan Christian David. The agreement also provides for Atlético de Madrid to have the option to acquire the player’s sporting rights on a permanent basis. The agreed fee for any permanent transfer is €25 million, payable over four financial years.”
