Rome, 3 Sept. (LaPresse) – “What does hosting ‘Report’ mean to me? Anyone who knows me knows this: I’ve never had that ambition, I’ve never done anything to become the new presenter. We’re all aware of how things have unfolded in the last few hours: a dialogue began with the company and, in the end, the company put forward my name. The team showed that they were ready to support me, and that’s what helped me make up my mind, because right up until the last moment I wasn’t sure; I was having second thoughts. Knowing that I had everyone by my side gave me the strength to say ‘all right’.” So said Claudia Di Pasquale, the new co-presenter of ‘Report’, speaking to journalists outside the RAI headquarters in Via Teulada. “The thing that makes us happiest,” she explains, “is the fact that the team has remained united and that the ‘Report’ correspondents will continue to produce the programme and carry out their investigations. It will be a difficult challenge, but I love this programme; I’ve been doing it for 15 years and what matters most to me is that it continues to retain its independence and autonomy.”
