Milan, 5 September (LaPresse) – Fabrizio Corona, the former ‘king of the paparazzi’, reported last night that he had received threats from two young men, friends of his son, who demanded 500 euros, threatening to harm the boy otherwise. Corona reported the incident by going to the Milan Police Headquarters, where he also showed officers the chat messages containing the demands for money and the threats. Accompanied by the officers, the former king of the paparazzi travelled to the agreed meeting point to hand over the money, in the Città Studi area, and when he got out of his car, a Range Rover, the attack took place: one of the two young men, aged 20 and armed with a chain, smashed the car’s rear window. At that point, the officers intervened and apprehended him. The other young man, however, managed to escape. The 20-year-old has been charged with attempted extortion and aggravated criminal damage.
