F1, Italian GP: Piastri penalized three positions, Leclerc’s third place official

Monza, Sept. 5 (LaPresse) – The two Ferraris will start from the second row at the Italian Formula 1 Grand Prix. The penalty imposed by the stewards on Oscar Piastri, third in qualifying, for impeding Liam Lawson in Q2 has now been made official. The McLaren driver therefore drops to sixth place, while Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton each move up one position and will start third and fourth respectively. Max Verstappen also moves up one place, to fifth with Red Bull.
