Kyiv (Ukraine), 6 Sept. (LaPresse/AP) – Following two rounds of talks with US officials, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the aim is a “just and fair peace” that ensures “there will never be an opportunity to resume aggression against Ukraine”. Zelensky also thanked the US negotiators Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, who travelled by train to Kyiv for their first visit to Ukraine. Zelensky stated that the next round of talks, scheduled for later, will involve not only the US but also the E3 countries, with the national security advisers from the UK, France and Germany.
