Kyiv, Sept. 8 (LaPresse) – Ukraine will work on preparing a possible trilateral meeting with Russia and the United States following the expected talks between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Donald Trump, anticipated around September 20. Zelensky said this, as reported by Ukrinform, explaining that Kyiv aims to organize the new format as early as this autumn, if all sides agree. “We will all work to prepare and bring closer a trilateral meeting between Ukraine, Russia and America. If all sides agree, we want to hold it in the autumn as well. If it is in September, that will be fantastic. The sooner, the better,” the Ukrainian president said. Zelensky had previously said he expected to meet with Trump around September 20, during which he also intends to discuss the issue of U.S. missile supplies to counter ballistic threats.
