Milan, 8 September (LaPresse) – Following the matches on Matchday 3 of the Serie A season, the disciplinary committee has handed Atalanta midfielder Gianluca Gaetano a one-match ban. As for the managers, Bologna manager Domenico Tedesco has been handed a two-match ban and a fine of 5,000 euros “for having, in the 49th minute of the second half, following his sending-off, directed a seriously disrespectful remark at the referee, and for repeating this behaviour at the end of the match in the changing rooms; the first offence was noted by the fourth official”. The disciplinary committee has also banned Bologna chairman Joey Saputo until 30 September 2026 “for having, at the end of the match, on the pitch, directed a seriously offensive remark at the match officials, and for repeating this behaviour in the tunnel leading to the changing rooms”. As for the clubs, fines of 4,000 euros were imposed on Venezia, 3,000 on Milan, 2,000 on Roma, and 1,500 on both Bologna and Genoa.
