The only thing I have to do is my duty as president of CONI. I never thought this story could be formalized and I never wanted it to happen.” This was Luciano Buonfiglio, president of CONI, on the sidelines of the press conference presenting ‘Obiettivo tricolore’ in the Senate. “It must be treated carefully and without haste,” he added, “because Italian sport is not a federation; no one here is in a hurry.
