Ranucci assassination: public prosecutor’s office orders investigation into assets linked to Lavitola

(LaPresse) – The Rome Public Prosecutor’s Office has ordered an investigation into the assets of the Bistrò Cefalù restaurant, which has been open for around ten years in Monteverde and is linked to Valter Lavitola, who is currently imprisoned in Rebibbia and accused of ordering the attack on *Report* presenter Sigfrido Ranucci. The partner of the former editor-in-chief of *Avanti!* has also come under the investigators’ scrutiny as part of the in-depth inquiries into the running of the business. Among the theories being examined by the investigators are money laundering and the fictitious registration of assets. The investigations aim to reconstruct the restaurant’s financial resources and cash flows.
