Milan, 11 September (LaPresse) – Sources close to Lega leader Matteo Salvini have revealed that, “at the secretary’s own request, there will be no foreign guests at Pontida 2026”. League sources emphasise that, “as agreed with our European allies, the intention is for Pontida to be a strongly identity-based event, entirely focused on the League’s supporters, its activists and local officials, the regions and national priorities – security, pensions and reducing the cost of living – particularly in view of the important challenges facing the government and the country in the near future”, the same sources stress.
