Milan, 13 Sept. (LaPresse) – The husband of the 83-year-old woman who was injured in the head and face at her home this morning in Via Frasca, Lanzo Torinese, in the province of Turin, has been remanded in custody on suspicion of attempted femicide. The woman had been attended to by the team from Azienda Zero’s Regional Air Ambulance Service (118), who intubated her and airlifted her to Molinette Hospital in a serious condition. Following questioning, the public prosecutor ordered the arrest of the husband (born in 1939) – who had initially fled the scene but later turned himself in voluntarily at the Carabinieri barracks – on charges of attempted murder.
