Rome, 14 Sept. (LaPresse) – A 24-hour strike by workers in the supply chain of the former Ilva plant. This was announced by the trade unions “following the meeting held today by the executive committees of FIM, FIOM, UILM and USB, together with other trade groups, in front of the contractors’ gate at the former Ilva plant in Taranto”. The unions “have called the first 24-hour strike for all contract workers, starting at 9.00 am today and ending at 7.00 am tomorrow”. They warn: “Let it be clear: we will not stop unless there are solutions and extraordinary measures for all workers”.
