We’ve been lucky to get off to a flying start on this blank page, and we must fill it with so many wonderful things.” So said Paolo Vanoli, who has returned to the Fiorentina dugout in place of Fabio Grosso, speaking to the club’s official channels after his new league debut – a win in Venice – and on the eve of the Coppa Italia clash against Pisa, tomorrow at 9.00 pm at the Artemio Franchi Stadium. “How could you not fall in love with Florence? When I was first appointed as manager, I came here with joy, and this time I’ve arrived with great enthusiasm and energy because I know what Florence is all about,” added Vanoli. “It’s a city that demands a lot; that’s a bit like me too – sometimes I don’t show it, but I’m a hard worker and I want to achieve great things.
