New York (USA), September 14 (LaPresse) – Bettina Trump, wife of Donald Trump Jr., confirmed that part of the celebrations for their wedding in the Bahamas, celebrated in May, were financed by Russian oligarch Umar Kremlev, whom the couple calls a “dear friend.” In an Instagram post, Bettina Trump explained that Kremlev offered “two evenings of celebrations” as a “wedding gift,” claiming there was no political motivation. According to ProPublica, Kremlev paid hundreds of thousands of dollars in expenses, including the rental of one of the two private islands used for the party and a fireworks display. Kremlev, head of the International Boxing Association, was recently awarded the Order of Friendship by Vladimir Putin and accompanied him to China as part of a Russian delegation.
