Turin, 15 Sep. (LaPresse) – On the state funeral for Ratko Mladic in Serbia “we didn’t say anything, not even the Serbian authorities went. It’s a choice that doesn’t seem exciting to me, perhaps it could have been avoided. But we look at the progress that Serbia must make. We are always convinced that it must be a future part of the European Union, as must all other countries.” Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said this on the sidelines of the Annual Forum of the South-East Europe Observatory in Trieste. “Even if there are mistakes, choices that we do not share, they certainly cannot be irreparable conditions for accession to the European Union,” he added.
