(LaPresse) – Russian President Vladimir Putin stated in a televised address that, “for the first time”, residents of “the Donbass and Novorossiya” will also vote in the Duma elections, which are to take place over three days, from 18 to 20 September. This refers to the Ukrainian regions of Zaporizhia and Kherson, currently under Russian control, and the self-proclaimed People’s Republics of Donetsk and Luhansk.
