Milan, September 17 (LaPresse) – “We will build a common architecture to enable the EU to defend itself as Europe, and not as a collection of 27 countries.” This was stated by EU Defense Commissioner Andrius Kubilius in an interview with ‘Repubblica’. “If we find ourselves facing a hybrid war, we will respond with a strong and united European hybrid defense,” added Kubilius, according to whom “European defense is not in competition with NATO,” which “prepares defense plans. We can also implement industrial solutions, help our member states adopt strategic solutions, and channel resources. And in any case, NATO is also undergoing major transformation.”
