Pontida (Bergamo), 20 Sept. (LaPresse) – A series of stalls welcomes Lega supporters arriving on the main lawn for the Pontida rally. Among this year’s new features is one dedicated to fundraising for jeweller Mario Roggero. There is also a stall run by the ‘Il Bobo’ association selling Roberto Maroni’s book *Il mio Nord*, as well as stalls run by Radio Libertà and others dedicated to the flat tax, the Lega worldwide and the School of Political Education. At another stall, a range of merchandise is on sale: from personal safety alarms to an Alberto da Giussano pin, from lighters to fans and insulated water bottles, right through to T-shirts bearing the ‘Lega Salvini Premier’ logo, a photo of Bossi and the classic slogans ‘Mai mulà’ and ‘All you need is love (and closed borders)’. Just before the entrance to the main field, there is a cardboard cut-out featuring an AI-generated photo of Ursula von der Leyen, depicted in tears with the hashtag ‘Ursula resign’, flanked by images of a motorbike and a Vespa, with the opportunity for party members to pose for a photo as if they were motorcyclists riding the two vehicles, and beneath the slogan ‘ + Engines – Green Deal’. There are also plenty of stalls where you can buy everything from Bergamo-style casoncelli to sandwiches with salamella sausage.
