Milan, 20 Sept. (LaPresse) – The Asti Public Prosecutor’s Office has opened a murder investigation into Roberto Mosso, the 35-year-old who shot and killed a thief last night in Baldissero d’Alba, in the Cuneo area. Among the investigators’ concerns in the immediate aftermath of the incident is ascertaining whether the man’s account – in which he claimed to have opened fire after hearing noises and seeing a group of 4–5 people enter his property – is true, in order to ensure his safety from any retaliation by the victim’s accomplices.
