Frankfurt (Germany), 20 Sept. (LaPresse) – The AfD stands at 38 per cent (16.7 per cent) in the regional elections in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, ahead of the SPD on 36.5 per cent (39.6 per cent). This is according to the exit poll by Forschungsgruppe Wahlen, released by ZDF as polling stations closed. They are followed by Die Linke on 6 per cent (9.9 per cent), the Greens on 5.5 per cent (6.3 per cent), the CDU on 5 per cent (13.3 per cent) and the BSW on 4.8 per cent (not contested in 2021). Die Linke stands at 26 per cent (12.2 per cent) in the elections for the Berlin House of Representatives, ahead of the CDU on 20 per cent (28.2 per cent) and the AfD on 13.5 per cent (9.1 per cent).
