Far more evident, however, are the attacks coming from the leadership of Giorgia Meloni’s own party, who—without providing any evidence—insinuate my alleged collusion with the Kremlin: ‘ “No one knows who Vannacci answers to” or, more pointedly, “We wouldn’t want to have to answer to Moscow,” the leaders of Fratelli d’Italia repeat in unison, according to *La Repubblica*.
