A 14-year-old pupil at the ‘Nicotera Costabile’ comprehensive school in Lamezia Terme, in the province of Catanzaro, was stopped by the Carabinieri before he could stab a teacher. This was reported by the Gazzetta del Sud, which stated that the boy’s plan was allegedly motivated by his failing a year last academic year.
