I appeal to everyone’s sense of responsibility: let each of us feel involved in the lives of these young people, who must always be protected and cared for.” This was Pope Leo XIV’s appeal at the end of Wednesday’s general audience in St Peter’s Square. The Pope’s words come just a few days before World Day of Migrants and Refugees, which will be celebrated on 27 September.
