This will take place in a few weeks’ time, in November, on the first date we have managed to secure.” “Until then, we have contacted cinemas in Israel and offered them the film free of charge, in the hope that it will be screened in the country from now on, alongside its release in cinemas worldwide. Screening it will be a courageous decision in the face of the intense pressure aimed at suppressing it,” the post continues. “Over the past week, many false claims have been made about us and the film. The film is based on three years of in-depth journalistic investigation, and the details it contains have been verified and cross-checked against multiple sources,” the co-director added, emphasising that “acknowledging the atrocities in Gaza in no way diminishes the brutal massacre of 7 October for which Hamas is responsible – which the soldiers discuss in the film and for which there is absolutely no justification”. “Journalism is not treason.
