Abbas called on the international community to intervene “to put an end to the Israeli occupation and implement the two-state solution”. “What is the international community waiting for to protect the Palestinian people, guarantee their right to remain on their own land, put an end to the Israeli occupation and implement the two-state solution on the basis of international legitimacy?”, Abbas added.
